Interior Design and Space Planning    We meet with you in the beginning of the project to determine  changes which can improve the usable space, or balance in the room.  In new construction, we might help evaluate the blueprint for the best placement of outlets, or doors and windows in relation to possible arrangements of furniture.  In a remodel, we might suggest taking out walls, or changing counters or other built-ins for a newer more open look.  We make recommendations for updated finishes such as paint, flooring, countertops, or lighting.  Our clients usually find that meeting with us before beginning any expensive project is the best investment made. 

Custom Draperies and Bedding   We are the Lake Ray Hubbard specialists in Custom Draperies and Shades.   Our studio is resourced with a complete line of fabrics from Kasmir, Robert Allen, Kravet, Fabricut, Kast, DMI, and Carole Fabrics.  We have a vast selection of trims and decorative hardware to complete the look.  Our designs are drawn to scale on the computer and shown with options in order to help our clients visualize the look in their rooms.  Unusual windows are no problem for us, we have ideas.  Whether the treatment needs to provide privacy, or sun control, sound insulation, or just beauty, we are known for creating the perfect window treatment for every window.  Our talented drapery workroom and professional installers bring the process to a beautiful conclusion on installation day.

Blinds, Shades and Shutters    SEI is an Alliance Dealer for Hunter Douglas Blinds and Shades.  We also carry other major brands and offer a well rounded selection for price and quality across the industry.  We have an extensive sampling of Wood blinds, Vignette Shades, Verticals, Silhouettes, Lumninettes, and Woven Wood shades.   Our shutters are the best quality fully framed shutters in the Dallas Ft Worth area, and are available in a variety of materials and finishes, arched or rectangular.  Roman shades are extremely popular now.  Ours are constructed in an array of styles with any of our fabrics, lining and trims and with a choice of  operating systems.   These provide excellent light and privacy control as well as a beautiful soft custom look at the windows. 

Furniture    SEI is a direct dealer for several  national lines of case good and upholstery  furniture.
Highland House, Hekman Woodmark, Lexington , Kravet, Sam Moore, Cox, Design Master - High quality upholstery  furniture lines.   These lines offer traditional, transitional and contemporary  styling.   We have hundreds of fabrics from which to choose, for designing just that perfect sofa or chair or ottoman for your room. 
Hooker, Lexington, Stanley, Highland House, Magnussen, Butler Specialty-  Wood and Iron case good lines   These lines offer vast selections in bedroom, occasional, dining, accent, home office and home entertainment furniture. 
In addition to the direct dealer lines we carry, SEI designers may take clients to the Dallas Design Center Showrooms for that “hard to find” item.

Floor coverings     We carry a large sampling of carpet styles from Mohawk, Shaw, and others.  With our  large selection of carpet, tile and stone, and wood flooring, SEI designers have the resources to coordinate and install all the flooring areas of the new home or remodel project.  Our professional installers have been working with SEI for many years, and our clients rave about their work. 

Accessories and Staging    People are amazed at the difference we can make in their homes just by taking a fresh look at their furnishings and accessories and rearranging them.  Sometimes it is just a matter of eliminating items, or re-hanging artwork that makes a newer, more balanced look.  We call this a “make-over” and it is one of the quickest and least expensive ways to freshen your home for a party or upcoming holidays.  New accessories may be added  if needed.
